What We Do
In collaboration with like-minded organizations and partners, we help build, repair, and provide homes—including traditional houses, mobile homes, and tiny homes—for veterans and families in need. Our goal is to facilitate 2,000+ home projects each year, ensuring those who served have a safe, dignified place to call home.

Our Founders & Technology
Contractor Guardians was founded by John and Laurie Kennedy, a husband-and-wife team with 40+ years of combined experience in construction and real estate. From building homes for families in need to managing multimillion-dollar projects, they’ve seen it all. Guided by integrity and community, they created Contractor Guardians to bring trust, transparency, and accountability back to the contractor–client relationship.
Backed by longtime partner and Chief Technology Officer, Corey Strange, Contractor Guardians stands on industry know-how and cutting-edge tech. Corey owns and operates Mobile Computer Specialists—Denver’s #1 IT company for 30+ years—and founded App Studio Pro and Web Design Pros 365. His leadership keeps our platform fast, secure, and future-ready.
